Day 13
Declo ID, to Pocatello ID 76 miles over open spaces.
Amazing Welcome from Jennifer Bowen director of Marketing and Promotions (nick name Bluue), The POW*MIA Awareness Association
Note: while the reporter is talking into the camera, you will see Ed and Jim trying to set up a tent in the background in the dark....
On the ride into Pocatello, we had two interesting events, a big yellow dog chasing Tom down the street, and Jim chasing down an antelope as it tries to cut across the road in front of us.

While waiting, Dale and Ed, decided to get hair cuts.
Group picture with the staff of the school of Hair Styling
10 knots to nowhere ... (nuclear submariner saying)
34 mile section of road we covered, 1 car passed us and one antelope.
Note I am creating an album to document our amazing welcome and support in Pocatello.
I will upload to our Photo Tab in the next day or two
Gentlemen,
ReplyDeleteI been following your blog since the beginning of your trek and I must say I'm envious of you all. I've really enjoyed your photos, but I'm somewhat concerned of all the red cups, red wine bottles, hair salons and Jim have his feet rubbed. More like a party than an endeavor of a lifetime.
With tomorrow being Independence Day, I couldn't think of any better way to spend it than to ride for such a worthy cause.
Keep it up Road Warriors, You too Jim, LOL!!

Hi Ed....Happy Birthday wishes from Mark, Kristy and Jenna from Lake Tahoe. Have a wonderful day!!
ReplyDeleteMan, I didn't want to say anything....but you guys really needed haircuts. Here's hoping that it helps cut down on wind resistance. Love the pictures and am checking them every day. Is there anything specific that Shannon, the boys and I can pray for?
ReplyDeleteTom, Sharon and I wish you and your team the very best on the 4th of July. It looks like your trip is really going well. Stay safe and enjoy your 4th. The Destroyer and Sharon
